I am far from a professional photographer but will share my snapshots with you all.
Botswana in Gold "fancy" halter , the other photos are his sons

ArabianFancy
This is Radaar Love AATH Stallion Champion. Also won Ext Spec. 4 year old stallions
Bred, owned and handled by Sydney of Day Dream Arabians. What a success story! This horse had the highest leg scores of the show and is a VERY well mannered, happy horse. Trained by Ben Bogart.
First photo was just before the championship class Sat morning , at his stall.
Such a sweet natured horse , just very curious but calm and happy.
all photos taken within 20 min of each other

Solita
Great photos ArabianFancy!! Keep them coming.
Any photos of Imperial Shehaab?
Lysette
Great pictures! Love the halter wink.gif And so nice to see Radaar Love!
ArabianFancy
This is Afrikhan Shah, going to Belgium soon and a rarely seen photo of " Mr Talaria" , Allison's wonderful husband Curt, who I think actually owns this horse, being presented with his very own Arabian Fancy halter to go with Shah to Belgium. Johanna , handling . A surprise presentation for Curt biggrin.gif

This head shot is a not a quailty photo but REALLY shows his head well.

and one more of Afrikhan Shah, on the left and maybe Afrikhan Alkhemi on the right? ( not quite sure that is right on him)

I was having too much fun to sit down and get more photos , sorry!!

Hi, very intersting! Where is he going in Belgium? At ETC? Thanks in advance.
And by the way, how is is pedigree?
tkr9
Do you know, I swear Botswana's line gets more beautiful every time I see him and his kiddies! And that... well... look of his, that he passes on to his sproggets... My first real piccie of an Arabian of his quality that I saw in my first arabian magazine - blew me away the first time and the heart's never stopped fluttering since... smile.gif gbfahne.gif

HiGaby
Sadly, not of interest for you because he is not sE.

Ansata Qasim (Farres x MB Moneena).......looks great under saddle also !!
Mike
ArabianFancy
Mike , would you happen to have a close up head shot of Qasim from the stallion presentation? I made that halter as a gift to be given to Mrs. Forbis. I would love to see how it looked close up on the horse. I was not there for either stallion presentation. Would also love to see Fw Casino from Sat.
Thanks!

I am looking forward in seeing Amy's pictures when she gets a chance to catch up on things :0)

Everyone's pictures are great!! I really wish I could have been there.
Cheryl L
I am loving the photos.

I know there are many more photographers out there, going through the photos and labeling and such. I can't wait.
I think we have some of the best photographers on this forum.
Cheryl

P.S.
I betcha Amy does NOT have any photos of the winner of the Amatuer High Point Award. wink.gif
A very well deserved award for her. She has earned it.
ArabianFancy
Cheryl, I hated to put mine up because I know we will see some GREAT photos. I just knew that every year, I personally wait anxiously for ANY photos at all from the Event, so wanted to share the few decent ones I had!
Can't wait to see the REAL things!
OH! I see show proofs are up at Robhessphoto!!!
Cheryl L
Gina, I loved your candid shots also. We are seeing a little bit of what YOU saw. Soooo, your photos are very much appreciated.
Remember, there are those of us, who had to sit home, like me and we need to "see" the EE outside of the live feed.

Here are photos of Shahara El Masr (Shahin El Masr x Ramses Elite) the winner of the World Class Mares - 10 Years and Older class. One of the most talked about classes at the Event.
She is bred by Dick & Pat Platzek of El Masr Arabian Stud and is a great example of their breeding program.
She looked stunning!!!!!!

Cheryl,

Thank you!!!

Monet Horse,

I do have hundreds of pictures and will post links to them when I can. Unfortunately my laptop, with all my photography programs became very ill during the Event. I am almost positive it got the datasource virus, worm or whatever. I can' t do anything with it or even open virus scan it just locks up and says program not responding to everything. Anyway I took it to the computer hospital today - so as soon as it recovers and I can start sorting and labeling pictures I will let you knw - I know their are a few good ones of Joel and Alluzia's big win in the Amateur mare class!!
Cheryl L
What a great shot from the plane, Gina. Those farms look so impressive. from the ground, let alone the air.

Your very Welcome Amy and very deserving of the Award.
You work hard and it shows. You should be very proud, I know we all are.

Prayers for a full recovery of your Laptop and it's photos. I hope that it does not have to stay in the hospital long. laugh.gif

Great photos so far. Not a single bad one! Thank you all and go ahead please! biggrin.gif

Does anyone have a name/pedigree for this lovely mare?
Frank
What a mare! Would like to see her pedigree, too.
PGD
Lysette, I would love to know that information, myself. Maybe Christine will know.

Here is Bryan Jeffries with a lovely filly from Lyday Farms. This was the Jr. Championship, I believe.

And Joe Polo with what I believe is an Al Adeed Al Shaqab daughter.

This is the beautiful Imdal daughter who was Supreme Champion Mare (I think!).

An American Breeder
A side note regarding this mare Shahara El Masr (Shahin El Masr x Ramses Elite): Her dam is owned by a very small breeder in Idahok, Pat Hampton, Northwind Arabians.

Hi Nancy, Lysette and CR,

I have the pedigrees of the endurance horses and many more pictures. It will take a while to go through it. It was very interesting to go see them in the field, before and during the ride. I wish Hansi had been there to comment on conformation and pedigrees.

Jill Erisman is going to ride an article with help from various people (including Hansi) but seing the horse live and close-up is the best. Some very nice horses.
It was DARK when the 50 milers started at 6 am!

Yes, I saw the costume class one day and the racing the other. I have tried to run as fast as they did from one place to the next but not a chance!
They are very impressive. It was nice to meet you Lysette.

I can't wait to see your photos, Christine - and to find out who that lovely endurance mare is!

Here's Amiin (can't remember offhand, but I know he has a lot of "pluses" and "slashes").

And, is this the mare, Shahara El Masr? If so, congratulations to Pat for owning her dam - this mare was just aristocratic, so feminine with such an elegant, classic look about her.

This, of course, is the always exotic Botswana.

Hi Everyone,

Yes, this is a GORGEOUS mare, but she can run too!
Her name is Shihara Breeci, a 1998 gray mare
by Shahir IASB (Salaa El Dine x *Imperial Imphayana by Ansata Imperial)
out of Bint Shahsria (The Minstril x Shahsria by AK Shah Moniet.)

The interesting thing about this pedigree to me though, is
the dam line. Check it out (Hansi!)

Shahsria's mother is Osiria, by Serenity Osiris
(*Khofo++ x *SerenityBintNadia by Sameh)
out of Serenity Bt Sagda (*Khofo++ x *Serenity Sagda by Anter.)

All my best,

Jill
jillerisman
Hope it is ok to re-share this picture, as it speaks
volume about the two SE horses who finished
3rd and 4th respectively in the 25 mile race at the Event.

The mare in the front as mentioned in my post above
is Shihara Breeci who finished 4th.

The horse behind her in the photo is the 1999 gray gelding
Petraa who finished 3rd. Petraa also has an interesting
pedigree. He is by Richter MH (El Halimaar x Fasarra by *Farazdac)
and out of Minstril's Bouquet (The Minstril x AK La Maarsa by SAR Ibn Moniet).
A lovely blend of bloodlines in this horse, AK La Maarsa's dam
is LA Shalimaar by Ramses Latif out of Shalimaar who is
Ansata El Sherif and a Babson mare tail-female to Maar-Ree.

Both these horses were eye candy in addition to being
proven athletes. Congratulations to owners/riders
Cynthia Epp (Shihara Breeci) and Kathleen Waymire.
The bond between horse and rider was obvious, and
the horses eager to perform.

Cheers!

Jill

Oh my word!! I knew that mare's dam very well! as she lived just down the road from me and belonged to Joel and Cathi Kuhens. Sadly, Bint Shahsria is no longer with us, but she was a wonderful producing mare. What an absolutely breathtaking mare her daughter is - a great representative of the breed.

Interestingly enough, this handsome young stallion competing for the senior halter championship on Saturday night and belonging to my friends, John and Susan Fox, is very closely related to Shihara Breeci. He is Majiid EQ, and he is also by *Shahir IASB and he is out of Miss Maggie Mae (like Shihara's dam - a Minstril daughter).
