FACTS

As a three-year-old El Ahhim Shah came to Germany and instantly found some enthusiastic admirers. He had his first experiences as a sire while on lease to the studfarm of Rosemarie Kolster. From this foal crop some of his most notable get emerged - foals like the multi-champion filly Nadirah (Junior Champion Filly of the Egyptian Event Europe and German National Reserve Junior Champion Filly) and Maydouh who is now standing at stud in France. PEDIGREE

His sire was the immortal Ansata Halim Shah, whose presence is felt around the globe - even years after his untimely death in 1994. He was the ultimate progenitor of true Arabian type. El Ahhim Shah's grandsire is the acclaimed Ibn Moniet El Nefous - the most influential son of the "Mare of the Century", Moniet El Nefous. El Ahhim Shah inherited his grandsire's seize, charisma and the bold way of moving. In tail female line he traces back to the Nazeer daughter Nazeera (x Malaka) whose get are successful on three different continents. One of Nazeera's best-known grandsons is the twice U.S. National Champion Stallion Assad.

PERSONALITY

El Ahhim Shah has a good sense of humour! An honest and charming horse, he is quite sensible and affectionate. He loves to be surrounded by "his" people. He knows that he is the ruler of the barn and is easy and calm with the colts. But on the way to his mares he seems to grow and every muscle gets tight - the King is holding court!
