FACTS

He's beautiful, he moves like a dancer and he's black. What more can you ask for in a young and promising colt? Bred and owned by Rothenberg Stud, the powerful GR Faaleh bred his first mares in 2004. He has straight legs, high tail carriage - in fact his tail waves like a flag - and an arched neck. He loves to show off: He bows his neck and prances and dances so that his feet barely touch the ground. His beautiful face with large, dark eyes reveals the Ansata influence in his pedigree. Chances are he will pass on his type and strong
but elegant body to his foals.

The fact that he is such a good individual shouldn't come as a complete surprise. GR Faleeh was sired by the late great Madallan-Madheen (Ansata El Salaam x Madinah), a maternal half brother to the globe-trotting stallion Imperial Madheen. Famous for his excellent type and his bold way of moving, the black Madallan-Madheen has sired really beautiful sons and daughters. GR Faleeh stands out as one of his best. His dam Fasinah boasting two lines to the acclaimed sire Salaa El Dine (Ansata Halim Shah x Hanan) and is known as one of the most beautiful black mares in Germany today. She traces in tail female line to the coveted Babson mare Maarena, thus adding an additional source of beauty, power and stamina to GR Faleeh's pedigree.

PERSONALITY

Equally important to GR Faleeh's beauty and strong body is his wonderful character. He is playful and active, yet kind and intelligent. He seems very happy and content with his daily routine. He has a nice big pasture to enjoy - and some beautiful mares are waiting for him. His owners enjoy his friendly and trustful disposition reflecting the close relationship his ancestors once shared with the Bedouins of the desert. "GR Faleeh holds a special place in our hearts," says Annette Escher. "A son of our beloved foundation stallion Madallan-Madheen, he is his sire's successor at our farm."
